CMI-part III

Part three, strictly pictures.

Clean RSX
I think this guy loves his dog so much he put it on the hood, and maybe intimidate the competition? He was at wekfest as well.
Ok, now. This guy was really full of shit. When I take pictures of an event I take pics of everything, because everyone who is present at the event, not matter if racing or showing needs coverage. But this guy came up to me and Johnny asking if were legit sources, and that if the picture was going to get published at a magazine or website. I told him that it was going to my personal blog, but this guy told me that if it wasn't for high traffic or popular website-I shouldn't be taking pictures of it. At that point I stopped, Johnny and I looked at each other and walk away.
Listen slut bag, if you ever read this, which I hope you do. With the previous statement about covering everyone at an event, first : your ride is not even fast, or nice, your fake sponsors won't make you run 16s, because is more likely you will be stock forever in the high 17s with slicks. Second: you are a truly ricer, who have heard of drag racing. And I quote: "It's not how you stand by your car, it's how you race your car." The Fast and the Furious. And you still don't know how let go of that clutch. Go buy a Geo Metro please.

This DC2 was R*Crew certified. Which reminds me, I have a Rcrew surprise for my friends.
Another "on purpose" overexposed picture to blind the shit out your eyes and peeps around you trying to see why you look so into the screen of your computer and giggle at the characters in this public/electronic journal.

Johnny moving fast with the camera, and holding down his "swag" while talking to me about the S2k, and showing/pointing Edson in the right direction where some hot import model was with his shadow. Johnny is the shit when it comes to multi-tasking.
Another clean Drag EM1
Clean Supra with what I believe ganador mirros. His front bumper belonged to a different body kit, while side skirts and and rear bumper belonged to a different, good looking car overall.

Drag race ready EG warming up...and again trying to make the pictures as overexposed as possible.
Under exposed picture of the cleanest interior possible on an EG.
Real RHD 4 door Integra Type R. Straight SEX in 4 wheels and doors.
So much attention to detail, and personal touch in this that I spent 20 minutes staring at it.

Same with Jeremy's car, inspirational.
Oh yeah, this is the dude that was cruising around and revving his engine left and right. He drove next to an import hot Nos model, and revved his engine, the passenger dude pointed at Mark's glasses, and revved his engine. Some chihuaha that had heat stroke barked, the dude revved his engine lol
This dude is from Modesto, home of Scammers. Yeah I know not everyone is the same, but come on now Modesto, lol. I think his car got towed at Eibach this year. Why? Because Ricer!
Do you guys see Edson and his dream car s2k of the day? the car is actually white, it isn't overexposed, but the rest of the picture is.
Clean rex with BBR wheels. Thank you sir (owner of the car)
Johnny wondering if it was a real CTR, we would never know.
Dark pic of serious race car.
A CTR replica car, clean car.
Dark pic of green coupe
Shaved engine bay.
Interesting coupe.
Cleanest Rx7 at the show, and Johnny about to cry 'cause it wasn't his.

Johnny telling Edson to make his butt stick a bit more so he could have the picture of the RX7 with Edson as a model, sticking his ass out. They were into it.
Edson checking his hair in the paint of this evo.
Can't get more serious than Edson's pose, and Johnny snapping pictures, while Mark rubbed his head off, because he didn't understand the concept of cars racing in the a straight line to see which car was the fastest on 400 meters.
Here Mark didn't understand the concept that in Japan, cars are Right Hand Drive.

Another serious shot, of Edson and Johnny. The way these two roll is "game." Mark was M.I.A at this point.
he was doing 15mph don't get excited
EG with 949s in the rear.

Now this guy smashed vtec and was doing like 60mph in less than 200 meters, it was scary 'cause I thought he was gonna run over all the "racing cats" that were on pits.

That's all for today, stay tuned for some things that I've been working on. No it doesn't involve my car, but someone really close to me, and the group of youngsters who make this blog happen. For those of you who haven't seem his car, you guys are not ready. I wasn't when I saw it.

CMI-part II

It was hot!!! and we couldn't handle it. Actually we did but for like an hour.
The day started around 6 a.m. We rolled in the flat green-halo status EG, keeping classy. We picked up Johnny and Mark on the way to Sacramento. We didn't see anything interesting on our way up there. We just listened music, somewhat talked because we had the JDM woofer bumping our heads (Mark's and my head) with some beats. Once at the track. Johnny, who just picked up a DSLR, went off taking pictures while Mark and Edson followed us.
There was a good amount of nice cars in all the levels. Race cars (going down the track), and show cars. Of course I would always have an attraction for race cars that have attention to detail, or show cars that I have attention to detail as well. In the same way, there were cars that "2005 called, they wanted their style back" ha ha. There was this guy, with his red EG that I think was in the show. He was going around the parking lot where all the vendors where, rolling slow, and revving his engine like a truly ricer. I'm pretty sure he wasted half a tank of his gas tank for revving his engine that much. Wouldn't be surprised if he was rolling in his single cam. But then again who am I to judge peoples styles. To each their own. Freedom of speech...right?
As we walked through the actual show, this gave me a NOS drink. It was Harvey from team Tronics. He has two cars, a nice clean DB8 with a JDM front end, and his daily beater, again another clean Del Sol, which he took to the show. He was rolling (hard) with Jeremy (owner of an awesome DB8, and this other guy (I forgot his name) owner of an awesome EG. Safe to say they had the best cars at the show.

We were at the place for like 2 hours, it was too hot. I was dehydrated from last night, sweating alcohol, my camera was heavy, and I had no interest in taking pictures, I did more talking than taking pictures.

Drag race ready EK, it was present at Wekfest this year. Joey from The Chronicles has an awesome shot of it.
Integra Type R on pits
This thing was so loud, and that snail was big too, as big as Johnny's head...enough said about the size.
Red EM1, I liked it.
Supra heading to the three and race.
I like this shot, but I made this shot overexposed on purpose so it could hurt your eyes when seeing so much white on the picture.
Supra and Johnny

Hard Drive Wipe Out!!!! FAIL

I wouldn't be posting this if I had updated, and posted my pictures, but for some reason I didn't do it. And now here I am, why? because my hard drive-where all 2000 pictures were- decided to crash.
Do you guys want a clear comparison of what happened to my hard drive:
Kurt Cobain blew his head off with a shot gun, then you come in and try to put his head, brain pieces, and so on together into its originall shape.

I know some messed up shit.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ok, good thing is that this won't be another useless post with out pictures. There are some from Edson's 21st Bday, and the trip to CMI.

On Saturday, my brother from other mom and dad, turned 21. I'll make it short, it was a blast. Got to the place ready to sleep over, because:
1)We are responsible and don't drink and drive.
2)We were going to CMI the next morning.

We all had fun, it was a small gathering. Friends and family only, no random chicks, no drama, nothing. Sharing some time with these kids meant a lot to me, specially celebrating Edson's bday. Why? this kid has done things for me, as well as all the guys in the following post. I'm glad that I have them as my friends. I wouldn't ask for a better group of people to be in my life. We laughed so much that night, even Irvin Santos decided to touch my expensive lens. The one that makes my camera gear more expensive than my car/make it go up in value as well. I was freaking out.
But instead of writting the whole essay on we went down that night, I'll let the pictures do the talk.
P.S. Burgos' tacos are the shit!

Thumbs up for being in dept! This where Carlos would say: "Being in depth makes a me a sexy ass mother fuuuuckker"

Feel free to insert a quote: "....."

Don't fuck with him...Here apparently he was irritated by me, I was taking pictures and taking his hat off as well. hehe.

Here Edson was bidding left and right for a $2 dollar case for his iphone. The ones hag chill on your belt and make you look like an old man that has prostate gland issues due to non-sexual activity and too much spicy food.

Cracking up at someone's joke that for sure wasn't funny at all.

Mark!
Feel free to insert a quote: "..."
Trying to be serious business like Edson, repping my nwp4life tee.
Light Weight hella drunk vtec powa!
Here is where Edson and Johnny decided to bet who was faster if Edson figuring out that puzzle or Johnny putting on his shoes with out looking. The public (the rest of us, watched in silent, it was intense)
Johnny lost.
And passed out...
Ricey Mark!
Smile Mark, you can see my fat there....135 lbs and going strong!
Irvin and Carlos were still in shock after seeing the competition between Johnny and Edson.

Friends and family!

Familia
Irvin trying to figure out what the symbols on the cake meant.

This were Irvin touched my lens.
The face of man who is going to hell for being in debt. If being debt could make people sexy. Carlos would be the model of it.
Here is Irvin talking on how he and Mark out-bidded Edson in the Ebay auction for like $30 dollars when the originall price was .50 cents + 10.95 of shipping and handling lol
I just said smile and made Edson ROFL like no other.

Familia Burgos

One of like 3 pictures of my car, next to the hella flat halo green EG!

Here are some pics of what went down at the Sacramento Raceway.
Perhaps I would've have more pictures, but I was hung over. I personally feel that I've lost the eye for photography, is momentarly. Just the things I've been going through. But I'm back, and coming big.

Ok, about this event. Maybe because I still had alcohol in my system I forgot that there was a show. I was prepared to seat under the sun and see little civics hit the track and run 11's all day long.
I was walking through the pits area when I noticed two blue cars, one that belongs to Jeremy one of the OG guys at RED ZONE Performance. His friend in his blue EG, and Harvey in his red Del Sol.

Boosted K20
Not sure if it was an original Type R, but it was clean, looked like the owner was still working on it.
These cars are "show me some tits, neck breaker, Edson serious business" status.

Pretty sure that the RHD integra will eat that supra alive. I know but you'll see why later on.

Is late, and I need to catch some sleep. Will come back with the second part of CMI. Apologies if you see any grammar mistakes.

WEKFEST '11 Mother Fuckers!!!

WEKFEST!!! is a steezy, saucy, weak-sauce or whatever you want to call it. Anyways, is a bad ass show, the best of the best in the West Coast, to be exact San Francisco.
So this type of event started about 5 to 6 years ago, it started as JDM Theory, for some reason they decided to cancel it. Then the next year, JR. form ATS Garage who was the same organizer for JDM Theory, talked to the guys over at Weksos and they came out with the idea of WEKFEST!!
This event is so big that people from Socal, Washington, Oregon, and even East Coast come over to presence it, or even to show their cars.
The caliber of this event is big, but so big that your grandma is not ready for it. Make sure guys to check out all the boots, specially the ones from NWP, and TheChronicles, these guys will have legit things for sale. Also keep an eye out for the ATS Garage crew, DPK, Phase 2, Cali♥. These crews always come out with really clean cars.

I've been waiting for this event for a year already. Once I got off the event last year, I started to wait for this one. Supposedly my friends and I are leaving around 6 in the morning to get in for free, but we'll see.
Why am I excited?

Here are some pics of last year event.
